Job Description Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. It offers 136 beds, a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion, parking garage, and a helipad. We are seeking a Multi‑Modality Technician (Per Diem, PRN) to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, including Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, MRI, and Special Procedures, while maintaining proficiency in general diagnostic radiology. The role is responsible for producing high‑quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and adhering to all radiation safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities with proficiency in general diagnostic radiology. Career development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ subsidiaries. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency required. Completion of AMA‑Sponsored School of Radiologic Technology. Minimum 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist; multi‑modality experience strongly preferred. BLS certification required. ARRT certification required. Advanced certification in one or more modalities preferred (CT, MRI, mammography, or ultrasound). Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements, and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculation of rates, ratios, percentages, and interpretation of data. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; solve practical problems and handle variable situations. Demonstrated knowledge and compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g., The Joint Commission, American College of Radiology, and Title 22 standards and guidelines. Compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, and interact well with the public. Knowledge of PC and applications.
