Photography Assistant
LGA Retail, Inc.
NRS is seeking a motivated, highly organized individual to assist the marketing department with daily photography duties. This individual will work closely with the company's current full-time photographer and be their right-hand when it comes to photographing items for web and catalog. The photography assistant is also expected to be efficient in Adobe programs such as photoshop and Lightroom, since they will be working with these programs daily. Responsibilities:
- Report to and assist senior photographer
- Act as second photographer during major photoshoots
- Organize products to be shot
- Upload images to smug mug
- Steam and organize clothes prior to major photoshoots
- Process and edits photos for catalog and web
- Good understanding of Photoshop and Lightroom
- Ability to shoot in manual mode on a DSLR camera
- 1-2 years of photography experience
- Ability to efficiently perform clipping function within photoshop
- Familiarity with Canon and Apple equipment
- Have an understanding of the western and rodeo lifestyle and be comfortable capturing related content
