Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to safely operate overhead cranes to load, unload, and transport steel coils throughout the facility. This role supports warehouse and manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are moved efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate has experience handling heavy steel products, operating tow motors, and performing inventory-related tasks in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to load, unload, and transport steel coils from trucks and throughout the facility
• Safely operate tow motors and other material handling equipment
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
• Pick orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and support warehouse/manufacturing operations
• Utilize scanners, computers, and scales to track inventory and complete shipping documentation

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous overhead crane operating experience required, preferably with steel coils or heavy materials
• Forklift/tow motor experience required
• Ability to lift, move, and work safely around heavy industrial materials
• Computer, barcode scanner, and scale experience is a plus
• Excellent attendance record and strong commitment to workplace safety

The base salary range for this position is $43,680–$54,080 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
