Maintenance Technician IIThe Whole Person is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to oversee facility systems, building operations, and fleet maintenance. This position serves as the primary facilities maintenance professional, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment while coordinating repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor services.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, security, and life safety systems.Troubleshoot facility issues and coordinate repairs with contractors and service providers.Manage maintenance schedules, records, and service documentation.Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of approximately 20 agency vehicles, including inspections, repairs, registrations, and preventive services.Coordinate work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, janitorial, and other vendors.Support facility projects, office moves, meeting setups, and inventory management.Provide limited custodial support as needed and respond to facility emergencies.Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.3+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience.2+ years coordinating fleet maintenance or vehicle service schedules.Experience with commercial building systems and vendor management.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.PreferredFleet management or transportation operations experience.HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance certification.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.What You'll BringStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.Apply today and help advance The Whole Person's mission of empowering people with disabilities and older adults to live independently.
