Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction/CSXT ROW

Overview MasTec Civil is now hiring a Project Engineer in Columbia, SC that will provide technical engineering information to project supervision and crafts to ensure construction work complies with all safety regulations, engineering standards, codes and specifications. CSXT ROW experience is a plus!

Responsibilities Ensurethatconstructioncrewscomply withallOSHAregulationsand companysafetypolicies ReviewProjectContracts,PlansandSpecificationsintheirentirety PrepareProjectScheduleandmonthlyupdates Preparequantityreporting,projectcostscashflowprojectionsandforecasting Coordinate withsubcontractors,suppliersandworkforce toresolveprojectchallenges, conflicts, and/ortechnical issues PrepareandsubmitPrimeandSubcontractorChangeOrders Managedocument control toincludesubmittalschedules,contractdocuments, project recorddrawings,etc. Prepare andmaintaintechnicalsubmittallist, NPDES permits, Storm,StormWater Pollution Prevention Plan,andProject ProgressSchedule asrequired Complywithnoticerequirementssuchasinspections,surveystaking, jointmeasurementswithowner and/orengineer,utility locationsand adjustments,testing, claims,etc. Issuecorrespondencetosubcontractorsandvendorswhenrevisedplanand/orspecificationsaffectsproductsorservices Assistwithprojectcloseout Perform additional assignments per the Project Manager's direction Qualifications B.S.inCivilEngineeringwithemphasisinConstructionEngineeringandManagement 4 or moreyears'experienceinthecivilconstructionfield(office/fieldrole) Experience on CSXT ROW projects is a plus!
