Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Wilmington, Delaware, working Monday-Friday plus rotating Saturdays. The role involves blood specimen collection, patient data entry, billing processing, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and process billing accurately and timely
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Proven exceptional customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
