Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Montgomery, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence and clear communication will help support a welcoming environment and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry to support controlled access throughout the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain awareness of activity at assigned entrances, exits, and restricted areas; report unusual conditions and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, as applicable, while working conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
