Patients are mostly over 60 yrs old, dementia, depression or suicidal. This has 16 private rooms. 1 to 6/7 ratios. Ideal Staffing plan- 3 RNs/2 techs. We have 1-3 techs on the unit depending on the census and the acuity of the patients. Centrak badges for increased safety (like a panic button) Protective services dispatched immediately when pressed. Requirements: 2 years of psych experience BLS and CPI certs must be able to draw blood and manage IVs OH or compact RN license recent EPIC experience Must have an accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE Float within specialty Gero Psych RN | Akron, OH | Nights 3x12s Looking for a Gero-psych RN with 2 years of experience.
