PRN Registered Nurse (Antioch)

The organization provides community‑based treatment for adults, children, and adolescents throughout Middle and East Tennessee. Position Summary Medical Operations Registered Nurse (RN) supports licensed physician or advanced practice nurse and the treatment team in clinic care. Schedule is PRN (Mon‑Fri, 8am‑4:30pm). Must work two shifts per month. Compensation $32‑$38 per hour. Responsibilities Nursing assessments and prepare consumer for clinic visit. Interpret, process, and implement provider’s orders. Advocate for consumers and participate in ongoing evaluation of progress toward treatment goals within the clinic setting. Maintain accurate consumer records for medication orders and order prescribed medications from designated pharmacy. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings as required. Provide general guidance and health education to consumers and family members. Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner. Proficient in electronic health record. Conduct assessments with consumers in the community (home, day treatment program, etc.) to provide continuity of care. Provide nursing coverage for other clinic locations and departments on a PRN basis. Work collaboratively with community providers for integrated whole‑person care. Comply with applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedure, policies, standards, and/or grant. Use de‑escalation techniques to prevent or diffuse disruptive situations. Obtain releases from PCPs, specialists, other treatment facilities, ER visits, and hospitalizations as needed for consumer care. Complete Prior Authorizations and Attestations for treatment medications. Perform rescue functions during emergencies, administer basic emergency medical aid, and evacuate individuals to safe locations. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with interdisciplinary teams. Demonstrate professional demeanor in all settings. Demonstrate proficiency in labs, injections, glucometer, UDS testing and pregnancy testing. Remain flexible and positive to changing needs. Prioritize customer service with internal and external customers. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Follow up with consumers regarding lab results as outlined in company procedures. Establish rapport with consumers. Systematically gather data necessary in treatment of consumer. Assist in determining the readiness of the individual for treatment and change. Screen for substance toxicity, intoxication, and withdrawal symptoms as needed. Analyze and interpret UDS and pregnancy test results. Requirements Certificate of training from college or technical school. Valid Tennessee Registered Nursing License. Current phlebotomy skills required. Valid Tennessee Driver’s License. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation. Personal Automobile Insurance.
