Job Description

This is a bedside patient care position requiring Epic experience. The role involves caring for patients in a 32-bed Med/Surg/Tele unit. The average daily census ranges from 17 to 22 patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (1:6 during surgical staffing) supported by nursing assistants and a lightly assigned Charge Nurse (1:2 patient ratio).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive bedside care to patients in a Med/Surg/Tele unit.
• Utilize Epic for patient documentation and care management.
• Collaborate with nursing assistants and Charge Nurse for effective patient management.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active state nursing license.
• Experience with Epic is mandatory.
• Health screenings, including MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and TB test, are required.
• Must provide a government-issued driver's license or state ID.
