What You’ll Do

• Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABGs and robotic thoracic procedures
• Collaborate closely with a seasoned advanced heart failure team including LVAD and Impella placements
• Perform specialized procedures such as endoscopic vein harvesting and first assist during surgeries
• Support patient care activities within the operating room and perioperative environment
• Document procedures accurately in an EPIC EMR system
• Ensure compliance with all licensure and certification requirements

What You Need

Required:

• North Carolina Medical License
• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
• Minimum 2 years experience in cardiac surgery setting
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience
• DEA certification
• EPIC EMR experience (preferred or required)
• Active vaccines as mandated

Preferred:

• Experience with LVAD or Impella support
• Robotic surgery experience
