Senior Technical Program Manager, CDN and Edge Security

Direct cross-functional initiatives to execute security strategies and frameworks across globally distributed edge infrastructure, acting as a pragmatic liaison to security organizations with a focus on network-layer and physical site security.Serve as the operational product lead for the edge caching and Content Delivery Network (CDN) hardware portfolio, developing comprehensive product roadmaps and prioritizing engineering backlogs.Lead end-to-end lifecycle management and introduction processes for new edge hardware generations, developing deployment plans to ensure capacity reliability and seamless integration.Collaborate directly with third-party hardware vendors and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to influence vendor product roadmaps, evaluate technical specifications, and navigate supply chain complexities.Serve as the primary operational conduit between engineering teams and internal business stakeholders, translating customer delivery requirements and technical network capabilities into structured operational plans.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field, business, operations, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in program management.Experience working within networking, data center, or telecommunications infrastructure environments.Experience with network infrastructure security or experience with operational hardware product management (e.g., defining hardware product roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, or managing product lifecycles).Preferred qualifications:Experience delivering technical programs within hyperscale cloud environments, large-scale telecommunications, or global infrastructure sectors.Experience maintaining relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) hardware vendors and influencing product development or roadmaps.Experience in operational product management, lifecycle planning, or New Product Introductions (NPI) for physical hardware portfolios.Experience managing complex stakeholders and driving alignment across organizational silos without direct authority.Practical understanding of network-layer or physical infrastructure security frameworks.Ability to act as a pragmatic speaking partner for internal security organizations, translating security requirements into operational deliverables.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Edge Capacity Delivery team, you will drive critical strategic initiatives that maintain and secure our connection to the outside world. This unique leadership role bridges two distinct and critical domains: operational product management for our global Content Delivery Network (CDN) hardware portfolio, and the implementation of our edge security frameworks.In this position, you will optimize quality and efficiency for a massive, globally distributed hardware fleet. On the product side, you will guide standard Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) hardware through its full lifecycle, influencing vendor roadmaps and navigating supply chain complexities.
