Job Responsibilities Licensed Clinician (LPC, LCSW) As the clinician, you write the script for each QMHP-CS. The clinician will supervise QMHPs to ensure they are on the right track in each client's case with services. The following are the roles and responsibilities: Approving CANS every 90 days in CMBHS and completing discharge CANS Completed & Approved within 48 hours Conducting QMHP-CS Clinical Supervision of alternating groups weekly Supervision notes turned into Lauris ERM for review by the Clinical Director within 48 hours Updating work calendar with available times weekly per QMHP-CS Clinical Supervision Reviewing and approving 90-day documentation for QMHPs in Lauris ERM: Quarterly Form ISP Form Communicating with Clinical Director and Director of Operations weekly to discuss updates Once-a-month Clinician overview meetings Reviewing and Approving Lauris Documentations within the required time of 48 hours Supervisory Responsibility The incumbent in this position does not have supervisory responsibility. However, he or she may be expected to provide leadership and instruction to volunteers and/or less experienced staff. Qualifications / Position Requirements Knowledge of electronic medical records Knowledge of community and community resources Ability to pass background check Valid Texas State Driver’s License TB Clearance CANS 1.0 Assessment (3-6 and 6-17) CPR Certified Texas Health and Human Services Trainings: Preparing Adolescents for Young Adulthood (PAYA) Barkley’s Defiant Child/Defiant Teen Social Skills and Aggression Replacement Techniques (START) Seeking Safety Nurturing Parenting Program – Tertiary Treatment Protocols Wraparound Planning Process Trauma-Informed Care Flexibility to work overtime, holidays and weekends Local travel is required. Experience / Knowledge Bilingual capacity with ability to provide services in English and/or Spanish Working knowledge of state and agency policies and procedures An active license from the state Texas Board of Behavioral Sciences Knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed care framework Knowledge and experience working with co-occurring populations (chronic health conditions, mental health and substance use) with emphasis on children and adolescents Strong clerical/administrative skills, including personal computer skills (Microsoft Office software) Ability to make routine decisions and determine proper action based on experience within the limits of policy and procedures Demonstrated oral/written skills in Spanish and English Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages and economic backgrounds in a culturally competent and sensitive manner Education Must have completed a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
