\n Merit Health River Oaks is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our established Emergency Medicine Program. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with strong clinical support and access to advanced resources. \n

Program Highlights\n

\n
• Approximately 25,000 annual Emergency Department visits
\n
• 110-bed hospital
\n
• 19 Emergency Department beds
\n
• Level III Trauma Center
\n
• 24-hour physician coverage
\n
• 12-hour NP/PA coverage
\n
• EMR system: Cerner
\n

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions
\n
• Perform patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning
\n
• Stabilize and manage emergent and urgent medical conditions
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
\n
• Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards
\n
• Support patient safety and patient satisfaction initiatives
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
\n
• Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
\n
• Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills
\n
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented emergency care environment
\n
