Job Description: Material Handler (Night Shift) - Stanwood, MI

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Material Handler for our client in Stanwood, MI 49346

• Pay: $20.00/hr (W2)
• Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Type: Contract

Position Summary

The Material Handler supports operations by maintaining production flow, completing accurate production ticketing/paperwork, and keeping the work area organized and clean.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain attention to detail and accurate labeling/recordkeeping
• Maintain appropriate levels of prepared dunnage for production packaging
• Monitor production as totes/pallets fill; remove, close, ticket, and place product into the warehouse
• Support production crew as needed
• Perform daily safety inspections and operate the department forklift; complete required paperwork
• Move and locate materials using FIFO practices
• Load raw materials as needed
• Pull stock, complete shipping manifests, and load trailers with finished product for deliveries
• Dispose of scrap/recycling (may use balers or grinders)
• Perform rework/sorting duties as needed
• Follow established procedures to ensure product meets client/Logoplaste specifications
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with GMP/Global Food Safety practices and all safety policies

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience/knowledge
• Some forklift experience required
• Able to read/write English; strong interpersonal skills
• Basic math and basic clerical skills (including Bill of Lading paperwork)
• Ability to climb, sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to lift/maneuver up to 75 lbs
