Registered Nurse - ER

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. This position is a night shift role from 7 PM to 7 AM. The duration of the assignment is 13 weeks. Experience in emergency care is essential. You will be caring for a diverse patient population, ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Patient types will include trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health patients. The typical patient ratio is 1 RN to 4 patients, depending on acuity. Support staff includes a mid-level provider and hospitalist available 24/7. Critical care transport team assistance is also available. Traditional nursing staffing includes multiple shifts throughout the day and night. Charting will be done using FirstNet. Weekend rotation is required every other week. Holiday expectations will be as needed. Approval of time off will need manager approval. The unit is known for being a welcoming community.
