Locums General Orthopedic Surgery PhysicianA healthcare facility in Twin Falls is seeking a Locums General Orthopedic Surgery Physician to provide coverage at a Level III Trauma Center. This position offers the opportunity to manage acute orthopedic trauma cases while working with a collaborative surgical and emergency medicine team.The Orthopedic Surgeon will evaluate and manage patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries in both inpatient and emergency settings. The physician will perform operative and non-operative treatments while working closely with emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, and surgical support teams.Compensation: $4050 Per ShiftResponsibilities:Evaluate and treat patients with traumatic orthopedic injuries in a Level III trauma centerPerform operative and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic proceduresProvide consultations for emergency department and inpatient casesParticipate in trauma call coverage as part of the orthopedic teamCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including emergency medicine, trauma surgeons, and advanced practice providersMaintain accurate documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety and quality careQualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic SurgeryFellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferredEligible for Idaho medical licensureStrong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex trauma casesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExtras:Generous (above market) hourly rateAll travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rateMed-mal and tail insurance coveredPersonal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shiftsLocated in southern Idaho, Twin Falls offers stunning natural scenery, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming community.
