Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk for an on-site temp-to-hire opportunity in Sioux Falls, SD within the financial services industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured clerical work, accurate data entry, routine operational tasks, and supporting daily business workflow. The Data Entry Clerk will work in a professional operations environment with clear daily expectations, established procedures, and supervisor support. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, hands‑on training, and the opportunity to build experience in administrative operations, document processing, mail distribution, and financial services support. Key Responsibilities Receive, log, batch, and distribute incoming work according to established procedures. Prepare, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. Perform routine clerical operations tasks that support workflow efficiency and daily production goals. Review the daily agenda, identify assigned tasks, and complete work accurately and independently after training. Escalate questions, concerns, or workflow issues to supervisors or more experienced team members. Maintain accuracy, reliability, and consistency while working in a computer‑based operations environment. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $19.72 per hour. Job type: Temp-to-hire. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Location: On‑site in Sioux Falls, SD. Assignment duration: 6 months with possible extension depending on workload and candidate fit. Required Qualifications and Skills Perform data entry, clerical processing, and operational support tasks. Receive, log, batch, sort, and distribute work and mail. Follow a daily agenda and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time. Support operational efficiency within a financial services environment. 1 to 2 years of administrative, clerical, data entry, mailroom, operations, or order processing experience preferred. PC experience with strong keyboarding and 10‑key skills. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to follow established procedures and work under close supervision. Good decision‑making skills within defined processes. Ability to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Ability to stay organized, meet daily expectations, and ask questions when clarification is needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in financial services, banking operations, document processing, or back‑office administrative support. Prior experience working with daily production goals, batching, mail handling, or operational workflow queues. Comfortable working in a structured, process‑driven environment with repetitive clerical tasks.
