Regional Director of Operations (Healthcare Dietary)
As a Regional Director of Operations (Healthcare Dietary) at Pearl of Elk Grove, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our healthcare dietary department in Elk Grove Village, IL. With a focus on enhancing the dining experience in the healthcare industry, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service while maintaining low budgetary costs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving our organization's mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the healthcare dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Manage a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure exceptional service and quality
Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and overall department performance
Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with hospital goals and initiatives
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and research to inform and improve department operations
Requirements:
Experience in healthcare dietary operations, preferably in a leadership role
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with hospital staff, patients, and families
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organization
