Job Description Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Petersburg, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/22/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: 12-Hr Days, every other weekend and holiday required Unit: 2E - Intermediate Care Beds: 29 Beds (expandable to 37 with 8 semi-private rooms) Patient Ratios: 1:3-5 Float Requirement: Traveler may float to other MS/Telemetry units Required Certifications Must be attached at submission: - BLS, ACLS Minimum Experience Requirements - 2 years of recent experience Preferred: - Travel experience, advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation, knowledge of cardiac drips Required Skills - Critical thinking, communication skills, time management, electronic documentation, oxygen therapy, medication administration, wound care/dressing changes, vital signs, IV insertion, NG tube management, recognizing early signs of deterioration Preferred Skills - Intermediate care experience, telemetry monitoring, wound care, IV therapy, NG tube management, recognition of patient deterioration Charting System Charting: EPIC, PerfectServe, Dimensions About Trustaff Our nurse-first attitude has set us apart from other travel nursing agencies When you join the Trustaff family, you’re more than just a body filling a role—you're a vibrant individual with dreams and aspirations.
