Resp Care Practitioner - UP - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Solid understanding of all aspects of Respiratory care.

Required Credentials: - Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted. - Associate’s degree - Respiratory Therapy

Unit Details: - Provides routine and critical respiratory care on inpatient units and in the emergency room. - Performs arterial, venous, and capillary blood gas analysis and ventilator patient assessments. - Cares for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Shift & Scheduling: - On call: none. - 3 wknds in 6wk every other wknd at best. - Rotation of major holidays.

Floating Requirements: - Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3
