You’ll oversee complex engagements across multiple industries while working in a collaborative environment that values professional growth, flexibility, and sustainable workloads . Unlike many public accounting firms, this team operates with multiple smaller busy seasons instead of one extreme crunch period , allowing for a healthier and more balanced schedule. What You'll Do Lead Audit Engagements Manage 4–5 audit engagements simultaneously from planning through completion Supervise teams of 3–4 staff and senior auditors per engagement Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and technical documentation Ensure engagements meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations Be a Trusted Client Advisor Serve as the primary contact for clients during engagements Present audit results and financial insights to executive leadership and boards Identify risks and provide recommendations around financial reporting and internal controls Drive Technical Excellence Apply GAAP and GAAS standards to complex accounting scenarios Review internal controls and financial reporting processes Assist in resolving technical accounting issues and conducting research when needed Develop and Lead Teams Mentor and coach staff and senior auditors Provide performance feedback and career development guidance Manage scheduling and workloads across engagement teams What We're Looking For Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting CPA license (or strong progress toward CPA) 7+ years of public accounting experience External audit experience Experience managing or supervising audit engagements Strong working knowledge of GAAP and GAAS Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience auditing government entities, nonprofits, private companies, or employee benefit plans Board or executive-level presentation experience Strong leadership and client relationship skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Storm-Search-
