Carl Black Chevrolet of Nashville is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to join our team.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience both in person and over the phone. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates well, stays organized, and can comfortably manage a busy front desk environment.

Automotive experience is not required. Customer service, receptionist, administrative, hospitality, or similar experience is a plus.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Full-time, daytime position

Compensation

Up to $20.00 per hour based on experience

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system
• Direct customers and calls to the appropriate department or team member
• Assist clients with general questions and dealership information
• Perform basic administrative duties, including filing, copying, and document handling
• Assist with scheduling and other front-office needs as necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
• Communicate effectively with our sales, service, and administrative teams
• Help ensure every customer receives a positive first impression of our dealership

What We're Looking For

• Strong verbal communication and phone skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable handling multiple phone lines and customer interactions
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Previous receptionist, administrative, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred, but automotive experience is not required.
