Practice Architect II-GCP Cloud Infrastructure

Role Description

The Google Cloud Infrastructure Practice Architect II is a key leadership position within TEKsystems Global Services, responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of sophisticated Cloud Infrastructure solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for major clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with robust experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-grade Cloud Infrastructure systems.

• Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with client business objectives and TEKsystems' quality standards.
• Translate complex business challenges into effective technical solutions using a variety of GCP services.
• Contribute to practice development, creating intellectual property (IP), mentoring junior team members, and supporting pre-sales activities.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, present technical solutions, and build confidence in TEKsystems' ability to deliver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
• A minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, platform engineering, cloud operations, and infrastructure modernization.
• At least 5–7+ years of direct, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• A minimum of 2–3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience with the complete lifecycle of Infrastructure projects on GCP.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation frameworks.
• Strong client-facing experience, including presenting technical solutions and effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.
• Extensive experience architecting and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• At least 1 year of experience in Generative AI using Hyperscalers.
• Active Google Cloud Professional Certification is highly preferred.
