About You: As the Maintenance Technician I, you are part of Best People. You will work with other maintenance personnel utilizing our Best Systems, to complete project work including fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, using hand tools and power tools. As the Maintenance Technician I, you have fundamental skills working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The Maintenance Technician I will help us to grow our business relationships, using your foresight to see potential issues and by delivering timely solutions to avert those same issues to produce Best Results. Necessary Maintenance Technician I Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize work to ensure team safety, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks. Necessary Maintenance Technician I Experience: Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors. Experience and willingness working weekends. Experience and ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs. Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time. Pre-Employment Drug Testing Notification and Policy: After a conditional offer of employment, all job applicants at MacLellan Integrated Services will undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs. Applicants will be required to submit voluntarily to a urine specimen test at a laboratory chosen by the Company. Any applicant who refuses to submit to a drug test or is suspected by the lab to have tampered with the specimen will not be considered for employment. Prior to testing, an applicant will be given the opportunity to list all prescription drugs used and their purpose. All legal drugs found in a drug test result will be verified by a Medical Review Officer (MRO), who will verify that prescriptions are valid and being used at the prescribed amounts and that said amounts are reflected appropriately in the urine. Any applicant with a confirmed positive test will be denied employment. Post-Employment Drug Testing: All employees can be drug tested randomly, upon suspicion, post-accident or any other purpose allowed by law.
