Job Title After School Pickleball/Tennis Coach Job Type Part-time (maximum of 2‑5 hours per week) Salary $50.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Schedule Weekdays and weekend availability. Education At least high school or equivalent Work Setup In-person Contact View phone number on click.appcast.io Job Description We provide after‑school pickleball and tennis classes for grades K–3 across the Bay Area. We are seeking dedicated coaches and assistant coaches to teach pickleball and tennis to elementary school children, manage classes, and create a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Class Management: Manage a class of 8‑16 students, ages 5‑10 years. Teaching: Deliver pickleball/tennis lessons using provided lesson plans. Training & Preparation: Attend a two‑day training/shadowing session. Transport and set up equipment. Administrative Tasks: Take attendance, sign in/out students. Interact with parents and school staff. Provide feedback per student by session end. Documentation: Capture a few photos each session of kids in action. Requirements Must be 19+ years old upon application submission. Previous teaching or playing experience in pickleball or tennis preferred but not required. USPTA/PTR certification preferred but not required. Enjoy working with kids and possess effective classroom management skills. Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Resilient, positive attitude.Ability to work independently and within a small team. Own car and valid driver’s license to use at work. Willingness to undergo a live scan background check and TB test before working. Fully vaccinated against COVID‑19. Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your experience in sports. Location Programs offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in‑person work.
