Key duties include preparing patients for testing, placing IV catheters and 12-lead EKGs, assisting patients on and off imaging equipment, and managing patient flow from the main lobby to staging areas. The role also involves entering demographic data into INVIA, assisting with chart preparation, maintaining supplies, and updating procedure tracking spreadsheets. The LPN works closely with front office staff to ensure timely patient appointments and communicates respectfully across departments. This role requires strong cardiac-related clinical knowledge, adaptability, and the ability to complete assignments independently and efficiently. LPN Responsibilities Assist Nuclear Technologist in daily duties including but not limited to : Patient preparation for test Placement of IV catheter Placement of 12 Lead EKG for needed procedures Assist patients on and off the camera’s as needed Retrieve patients from the main waiting room and places them in the appropriate staging area for testing. Inputs demographic information into INVIA and eClinicalWorks Assist nuclear department in any chart prep as needed Helps to maintain supplies in testing areas Assist with procedure tracking excel sheet as needed Works closely with Front Office staff to ensure that patients are received timely for their appointments Delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan, as well as in accordance with policies and procedures of the office.
