Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule: 10 Hour Days

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience in Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU
• Preferred experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care throughout the entire perioperative continuum, including Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, including endoscopies, pain injections, cataract surgeries, orthopedic procedures, and general surgical cases.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the operating room environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Monitor patient progress and manage post-operative care in the PACU.

Compliance / Notes:

• All onboarding requirements due 2 weeks prior to start.
• Candidates must meet all compliance requirements and on-call expectations prior to submission.
