Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) role located within a clinic in Portland, Oregon. This position requires an experienced HCP with skills in obstetric emergencies such as placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension. The RN will be responsible for triaging patients over the phone, responding to inquiries via the electronic health record system, and supporting maternity and gynecological care within the clinic. This is a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Oregon RN license (or pending license with application submitted), 2 years of clinical experience, experience with electronic health records (Epic), ability to triage obstetric emergencies, BLS certification Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Labor and Delivery or obstetric emergency management Responsibilities The RN is expected to have knowledge of obstetric emergencies such as placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension. Triaging over the phone, responding to patient inquiries via Epic and voice messages, and performing clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care. Working within the outpatient clinic setting with a focus on maternal health. Assignment begins on 07/27/2026 with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week. Include all RTO requests at the time of submission; communicate specific scheduling and holiday requirements upfront. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities or affiliates. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
