Part-Time Nursing Clinical Instructors - Hybrid Programs

The Waynesburg University Department of Nursing invites applications for part-time clinical instructors to support our growing hybrid nursing programs, including the LPN-to-BSN and Second-Degree BSN pathways. Clinical instructors will provide direct supervision, instruction, and evaluation of nursing students during weekend clinical rotations at healthcare facilities throughout the region. Opportunities are available in a variety of clinical areas based upon program needs and the instructor's area of expertise. This position is particularly well suited for practicing registered nurses who are interested in nursing education while maintaining their current clinical practice. Previous teaching experience is welcomed but is not required. Faculty support and orientation are provided to assist nurses who are new to clinical education. A master's degree in nursing is preferred. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in nursing who are currently enrolled in a master's degree program will be considered. Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a current nursing license and must be committed to the mission and purpose of Christian higher education.
