Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist

As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be a part of the Corporate Indirect Procurement Operating Supplies Category Strategy Team (CST), responsible for category strategies, execution, and results to optimize total cost of ownership across all regions.

This is a hybrid role and can be located in Geismar, LA or Houston TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop robust commodity strategies for the Indirect Category Strategy Team and with consideration to quality, cost, speed and service requirements, market conditions, risks and exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon, global industry trends, suppliers’ capabilities, and overall supply chain expertise * Partner with Buying Operations Team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution. Facilitate engagement across all regions to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned commodity space * Consolidate fragmented global spend, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution in order to bring greater value to Solstice * Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity * Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies while maximizing benefit to Solstice
