This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial processes and efficient logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

Finance:

• Payment Processing: Handle customer payments, including checks, credit cards, and cash.
• Transaction Entry: Enter invoices, deposits, and other financial transactions into accounting software.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and address any discrepancies.
• Collections: Assist with collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Record Maintenance: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.

Logistics:

• Delivery Coordination: Schedule deliveries and work with logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
• Freight Invoices: Enter freight invoices into accounting software and ensure accuracy.
• Shipment Documentation: Reconcile bill of ladings with shipment documentation.
• Tracking: Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise during delivery.
• Warehouse Coordination: Work with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order picking and packing.
• Record Keeping: Maintain shipping records and related documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. Experience with specific software related to accounting, transportation management, or inventory management is a plus.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Experience: Prior experience in data entry, recordkeeping, or a similar role is preferred.
• Industry Experience: While not required, experience in the food service or ice cream industry is considered a plus.
