Highlights
- Outpatient-only setting
- If desired, participate in newborn rounds + inpatient peds call with deliveries
- Monday through Friday hours, 4-day workweek possible

Sault Ste. Marie in Michigans Upper Peninsula
Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan is a diverse waterfront community with a wealth of things to do and see. It is the second-most populated city in the Upper Peninsula after Marquette. Located at the northeastern edge of the Upper Peninsula, it is separated by the St. Mary's River from the much-larger city of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. It offers year-round recreational activities, historical sites, the world-famous Soo Locks, the swinging railroad bridge, Tahquamenon Falls, lighthouses, and more. Enjoy all four seasons in this beautiful community. The city is also home to Lake Superior State University. The Sault has a regional airport, Chippewa County International Airport (CIU), with daily flights to and from Detroit and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Sault Ste. Marie is located right on I-75 and is easily accessed from lower Michigan. You are a 3-hour drive from Midland and Traverse City, a 4-hour drive from Lansing, and 4.5-hour drive from Detroit and Grand Rapids, MI.
