Logistics Driver - Flatbed Tow OperatorLocation: Miami Florida 33137Duration: 6+ months $28.00 an hour USDSchedule: Monday - Friday (3:30pm - 11:30pm) Homebase: 101 NE 23rd St, Miami, FL 33137 Equipment: Flatbed single car Dodge Ram 3500Logistics Driver - Flatbed Tow Operator (PM Shift)As a Logistics Flatbed Tow Operator, you will be responsible for properly recovering our vehicles on public roads when the need arises. This individual thrives in a customer service atmosphere and must have a clean driving record. You will be responsible for assisting in our transition towards being a more production-ready company.Responsibilities:Operate and safely conduct recovery tasks on public roads.Pull a combined gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds; the current flatbed equipment Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is at 20,000 pounds.Ensure goods are transported and secured in a safe and efficient mannerPerform pre- and post-trip inspections of company materials, vehicles, and trailersComply with all applicable DOT regulationsTimely and effective communication with dispatch and ground support is a mustOperate flatbed towing equipment to include winching, skating, snatch blocking, and shimmy off load, complex towing proceduresMaintain detailed driving and delivery logs, including hours of serviceMaintain and service vehicles as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)Collaborate with the Logistics and cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide great customer experienceQualifications:Valid basic Class C driver's license is requiredHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferredPhysical ability to exit/enter vehicle multiple times a day and lift to 35 poundsMeet DOT physical and medical requirements as necessaryMust pass a background check and drug testing requirementsClean driving record with no moving violationsAbility to operate large and heavy vehicles with high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity2+ years proven towing experience with flatbed driving preferredMust be flexible on work hoursStrong communication skillsStrong organization skillsHands on approach to getting the job doneWork effectively in a team settingAbility to deal with ambiguity and adjust to provide great customer experience
