- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and transmission flushes
- Inspect vehicles according to state requirements for emissions and safety
- Conduct necessary repairs and test-drive vehicles to verify soundness
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive service
- Keep accurate and legible service paperwork for customer records
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prior automotive repair or lube technician experience preferred
- High attention to detail with effective communication skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
- Own tools or ability to obtain specific tools required to perform the work
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or greater
- Valid driver's license required
