Job Description: This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry. The Credit Assistance Technology team is investing significantly in technology to simplify the current landscape, automate complex business processes & digitize our customers’ experience through innovation and creative problem solving. As part of this journey, we need dynamic, strategic, DataStage developers who will play an instrumental role in defining and executing against a comprehensive strategy. The role must be comfortable interacting and working with both the technology and business teams. Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Required Qualifications 5+ Years Hands on IT software experience (Technical) in IBM Datastage Development Good knowledge in IBM Datastage Strong Parallel job and Sequence job developing skills with proficient understanding of parallel framework. Proficient in shell scripting ,sql and integration of data stage to various other platforms Experience with databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2 Good understanding of version controlling and code deployment of Datastage assets Develop & Design IBM DataStage applications for the Credit Assistance Technology (Collections) LOB Work independently on initiatives & responsibilities with little oversight Translate business objectives into technology designs, calling out risks and/or compromises based on constraints Effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle, including production Develop & unit test Complex Programs/Component Manage technical tasks, to ensure work is delivered on-time and on-budget Desired Qualifications: Prior experience in supporting financial systems and lines of business Understanding of Agile Kanban and Scrum Experience in Banking/ Finance Domain Exposure to Collections and Recovery Business Skills: Application Development Automation Influence Solution Design Technical Strategy Development Architecture Business Acumen DevOps Practices Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process Analytical Thinking Collaboration Data Management Risk Management Test Engineering Minimum Education Requirement:
