Utility Person II, Utl/Meter SV Location: Hewlett, NY, US, 11557 Hourly Rate: $35.02 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or rotating shift schedule including weekends depending on assignment. Accountabilities Respond to and investigate water leaks, no water complaints, hydrant flushing, water main and services mark outs, and meter changes. Perform outside physical labor related to installation of piping, fire hydrants, services, and appurtenances. Operate various types of tools and equipment used for installation, maintenance, and operation of facilities. Education and Experience Valid New York State driver’s license. Able to become computer literate and use the Mobile Work Management Program by end of probationary period.
