Senior Biostatistician (Oncology Clinical Studies)

Natera seeks an experienced Lead Biostatistician to design and lead oncology clinical trials for molecular diagnostic tests. The role requires independent direction of study design, statistical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration on practice-changing oncology research in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead statistical design and analytical planning for oncology clinical utility studies
- Serve as study statistician across multiple concurrent studies with cross-functional teams
- Author and review statistical deliverables including SAPs, analysis reports, and publications
- Recommend and implement novel statistical approaches; mentor junior statisticians
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related quantitative field; Ph.D. preferred
- 4+ years of clinical trial biostatistics experience
- Strong expertise in time-to-event analysis, censoring, competing risks, and survival modeling in oncology
- Knowledge of adaptive and biomarker-informed study designs, power calculations, and endpoint evaluation
- Working knowledge of ICH, GCP guidelines, and CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM)
- Proficiency in R
