The Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive service experience. This role involves interpreting customer concerns, preparing repair estimates, coordinating repairs, and explaining services and costs in a clear and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers upon arrival and discuss vehicle concerns and service needs Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone Interpret customer concerns and communicate vehicle issues to technicians Estimate the cost and time required for a wide range of automotive repairs Develop detailed repair estimates considering labor, materials, and supplies Prepare and manage repair orders by accurately documenting vehicle problems and symptoms Advise customers on proper vehicle maintenance and care Recommend services or merchandise when appropriate Qualifications & Skills Service Advisor or similar position in the automotive industry with basic automotive and tire knowledge Neat, professional appearance Possess a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle stress and maintain professionalism under pressure Dependable, enthusiastic, and customer-service oriented Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds , and capable of sitting, standing, bending, and walking throughout the workday How to Apply If you’re ready to join a respected shop that values quality and teamwork, please email your résumé along with: Desired salary Available start date Optional cover letter #J-18808-Ljbffr
