What You'll Do

 

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll help identify new business opportunities, engage prospective customers, and support revenue growth through proactive outreach and relationship building. 

Job Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective customers through phone, email, and other outreach channels. 
• Research companies, industries, and decision-makers to identify new sales opportunities. 
• Build relationships with prospective and existing customers to understand their business needs. 
• Generate and qualify leads for the sales team. 
• Manage inbound inquiries and convert interest into sales opportunities. 
• Develop opportunities within both new and existing customer accounts. 
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to support business growth. 
• Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage activities, opportunities, and customer interactions. 
• Prepare quotes and communicate product and service value to potential customers. 
• Support account growth through relationship development, follow-up conversations, and cross-selling opportunities. 
• Participate in trade shows, customer events, and marketing initiatives as needed. 
• Attend sales training and professional development programs to continuously build your skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to build relationships and establish trust. 
• Ability to identify customer needs and communicate solutions effectively. 
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve goals and deliver results. 
• Comfortable engaging with customers by phone and email. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. 
• Open to coaching, feedback, and continuous learning. 
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, trade shows, and company events. 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience in sales, business development, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, or other customer-facing roles. 
• Experience conducting outbound outreach or following up with prospective customers. 
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales technology. 
• Experience supporting customer acquisition, account growth, or revenue-generating activities. 
• Interest in building a long-term career in sales and business development.
