Title: General Utility Worker I - Aerospace Corporation Requisition #: 655682 Location: El Segundo, CA, 90278 Job Description The General Utility Worker I serves a variety of essential back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house Food & Beverage (F&B) roles. The position requires maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment and gaining extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment. Job Responsibilities Monitor and record food and equipment temperature Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including pot/dish wash and deep clean duties Attend in‑house training sessions Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform in accordance with company regulations at all times Comply with and assist in promoting and implementing the company’s health and safety policy Comply with and assist in promoting and implementing the company’s policies and procedures Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to; assist chefs with checking food deliveries to ensure only the highest standards of produce are accepted Ensure all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that the stock rotation system is followed Perform cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture Prepare service area and/or service points Accurately store food items and equipment after service Qualifications Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team Courteous manner Flexible approach to hours and duties This role may involve physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or personal protective equipment (PPE).
