TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Dialysis RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Dialysis Profession: RN Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in dialysis License: Registered Nurse state license Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals - Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English - Professional Nursing Certification is preferred Description: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required. Every other weekend is expected. Dialysis unit has eight dialysis bays with the ability to perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis. The nurses and certified dialysis technicians prepare and perform dialysis treatments on patients. Dialysis ratios are 1:2 (RN: patient) or 1:3 (RN + CCHT: patient) ratios. The equipment currently used includes Fresenius machines and Gambro as needed. Training will be provided if not familiar with Fresenius or Gambro. An associate degree in nursing is required. Two years of RN experience with at least one year of experience in dialysis is required. This position is clinical and involves direct patient care.
