As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Big Island, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and help to deter unauthorized activity involving personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related issues, and communicate important information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
