Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: Medical Progressive Care Unit with a mixture of patients. Number of Beds: 12. Ideal staffing on night shift when unit is full is 1 Charge Nurse, 3 Registered Nurses, and 1-2 Patient Care Technicians. Patient Ratios: 4:1. Type of equipment used: EMR Meditech. No on-call requirement. Floating requirement in rotation. Most recruited for: Travel Registered Nurses, local Patient Care Technicians, and sitters. Candidates with teamwork and a positive attitude will be preferred. Typical procedures performed on the unit will be included in orientation. Additional attractive features of the unit may include new equipment or technology and the tenure and experience of the staff. Schedule options may also be discussed during the hiring process.
