Details Work in the Pediatric Unit covering PICU, Pediatric Advanced Care, and Pediatric Med/Surg patients Day shift schedule, 07:00-19:30, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly Requires every other weekend and every other holiday coverage Performs dressing changes, catheter insertions, IV starts, and medication administration via bar code scanning Monitors intake and output and reports high alert lab results to providers Uses Epic EMR for charting Requirements Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience ASN required, BSN preferred Epic EMR charting experience required Additional Information Collaborate with Pediatric Intensivists and Pediatric Hospitalists on patient care Perform initial assessments and develop individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs Act as a mandated reporter for suspected abuse or neglect cases Engage in bedside report, whiteboard updates, and hourly rounding to ensure strong communication with patients and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality outcomes Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Returning contingent workers must take a 6-month break after 1 year of continuous assignment before returning to this health system American Traveler Job ID P-771958.
