Professional Recruiter at Insight Global Health Location: Fully ONSITE first 90 days, then HYBRID - Bryn Mawr PA Compensation: $135-155k/yr JOB DESCRIPTION One of Insight Global's water & wastewater utility clients is hiring for a Corporate Automation (SCADA) Engineer. This role is based in Bryn Mawr, PA with 25% travel requirements. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and maintain industrial control (SCADA) systems for water and wastewater operations, collaborating with corporate, state, and external partners on projects of varying scale. Provide technical leadership in SCADA architecture, control system design, cybersecurity, and operational reliability, while facilitating compliance with engineering, IT, and OT standards and guidelines. Lead and participate in all phases of IT/OT project lifecycles, including capital planning, system architecture, and process control initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and support IT/OT program governance, working with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and advisory groups to drive automation strategy and project execution. Oversee and support cybersecurity efforts, including network access control, vulnerability assessments, remediation planning, and day-to-day IT/OT security operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational needs, stakeholder engagement, and technical support across all states, ensuring effective communication, documentation, and continuous improvement of SCADA systems. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field. 5+ years' experience leading SCADA control system environments preferably in water/wastewater. Extensive hands-on experience in SCADA architecture design and information security, including DMZ design, perimeter defense, encryption management, and network security prevention and detection. Demonstrated expertise in architecting and implementing industrial control systems (SCADA) within large, complex, and geographically distributed environments, integrating both IT and OT. Solid knowledge of encryption (in transit and at rest), SCADA and industrial control network best practices, security protocols, and operational HMI standards. Working knowledge of GE Proficy iFix (v. 5.0 or later), GeoSCADA Expert, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Schneider Electric Unity Pro, and proficiency with SCADA protocols such as Modbus and DNP3. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments across diverse operational teams; excellent written and verbal communication required. Nice to Have Skills and Experience Wonderware System Platform Certification (v. 2012 or later). Pennsylvania DEP Class A Water License (or other operational states).
