This contract position offers a unique schedule structure with a four-day workweek of 10-hour shifts, yet compensation is based on a 40-hour week (32 hours regular time plus 8 hours overtime). The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will last 13 weeks or longer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, supporting their daily tasks and workflow
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient medication therapies
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis systems efficiently

Desired Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license is required
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis is highly advantageous
