Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Traveler

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with weekend requirements of every other weekend.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a traveler. The ideal candidate will be capable of floating to the VVMC Sedona Emergency Department, which is a free-standing facility located a short drive from the primary site. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering care to patients in the emergency department, including assessments, diagnoses, and triage.
• Administering medications as per protocols and monitoring patient responses.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities using Cerner.
• Providing support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3 years of experience in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or a valid, participating compact license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Traveling to Sedona, AZ may be required for floating shifts.
