The C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, part of the VA Healthcare System, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Gastroenterologist to join our growing specialty care team in Bay Pines, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to our nation’s Veterans in a collegial, mission-driven environment with excellent work-life balance. No state income tax

• Full-time Gastroenterology position within a well-established VA medical center

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology

• Opportunity to practice advanced endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)

• Academic and teaching opportunities available

• No private practice overhead and strong multidisciplinary support

• Perform inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations

• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including advanced endoscopy/EUS

• Manage patients in outpatient gastroenterology clinic

• Participate in inpatient hospital care, including consults and procedures

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, Veteran-centered care

• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and education activities as applicable
