We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance / Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) , specifically the General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) modules. This role will support daily accounting functions, financial reporting, vendor payment processing, reconciliations, and payroll support. Experience processing payroll through ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) .
• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (GL) to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Process and monitor Accounts Payable (AP) , including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support bank and account reconciliations.
• Generate financial reports and assist management with financial analysis.
• Process employee payroll using ADP Workforce Now (preferred experience).
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with wage and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) , specifically:
• General Ledger Module
• Accounts Payable Module
• Experience processing payroll through ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with payroll processing and payroll compliance.
• Knowledge of month-end close procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
